I can’t seem to find where to set a depth alert/alarm in rec mode for the Teric. Please help! Thanks.
Hi Shearwater
When do you integrate stack time in the CC/OC mode on the Teric?
Kind regards
Morten
Hi Morten. As you’ve seen, the Teric does not have a stack timer option, and unfortunately, there isn’t information about this feature . I can confirm that your suggestion has been added to that feature request list. Thank you
Is there any timeline for improving or adding some features for the free-dive modes? are where I can submit some suggestions – this is one of few free-dive capable computers rated deeper than 100m. There are some lacking features though
Hi Shaun, while we don’t have a timeline for updates to the Freedive mode for the Teric, you can email us at info@shearwater.com with suggestions. We’d appreciate any features you suggest.
Hi Team,
I have had my Teric since 2020, the Iron man edition, never been on a dive yet thanks to the pandemic but i am scheduled to do so next week.
I was trying to update from FW V18 to the latest V22 via the MS Cloud app but it always fails. Battery above 50%. It reaches about 55% and then the Teric sort of reboots and gives a tissue clear warning.
Could you help please ?
Hi Ajay, thank you for your comment. I’m sorry to hear you’re having this issue with updating the firmware for your 2020 Teric. Could you please let me know the serial number and current firmware version showing in Settings – General – System Info? Sometimes the firmware upgrade will go through, but may not appear to have done so. Once you check your current firmware version, if it’s showing as V22, then that’s great. If it is still not updating, could you try to update your Teric using the mobile Cloud app?
I was using the latest apps on both Windows and Android.
On windows it failed 4 times between 55% and 70%. The watch would reboot and give an error stating tissues would be cleared and then upgrade failed.
But it went through in 1 go using the Mobile app.
All good now 🙂 Thanks for your quick response !
Regards,
Ajay
Just wondering if there are any plans for an update that would allow the screen to stay on in watch mode?
Hi Martin, If you haven’t already, go to the Settings > Display > Timeouts. If you would like to have the time always on when you are wearing it, set up Watch Timeout to no motion and Watch Timeout to 20 minutes. Now the Teric won’t turn off if you move it at least once every 20 minutes. We don’t currently have plans for the watch to stay on for a longer durations.
Hi Shearwater-Team, I love the Teric! Will you introduce a dual-time option?
Hi Cristian, we really appreciate getting feedback from fellow divers about what they would like to see in Shearwater products.
We periodically do reviews of suggested enhancements and feature requests prior to new firmware releases. Due to the volume of requests we get, I can’t promise that this improvement will be included in our next update, but I’ve added your request for dual-time on the Teric to that list.
Please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts or suggestions again in the future.
