Shearwater Cloud Desktop Beta V2.0.3 Now Available

 

A new update of Shearwater Cloud Desktop Beta is now available. New features include the capability to export dives in several formats, text size control, and additional support for importing Shearwater Desktop dives. You can download the Shearwater Desktop Beta v2.0.3 through the following link:

    Hi, I’m using
    Shearwater desktop and upload and maintained my dives from perdix
    Shearwater cloud for Android and have had upload same 28 dives from same perdix.
    Now I saw the Shearwater desktop cloud and decided to
    delete the dives from cloud Android.
    upload from desktop db to desktop cloud, so I would have the same dives in both and could syncronize cloud for android with them.

    But . . . is does not work.
    I can’t delete the cloud dives. Somehow they are always there and even if I import from desktop DB to desktop cloud it looks good but at the end they are not going into cloud.

    What I’m doing wrong?

    Hello.

    SAC dosn´t work.
    I can see it, but at the list on the right side ( were pressure , deep and all ) were listed,
    SAC doesn´t work.

    Also the font size is very small.

    First of all thanks for putting this out there. Before the release I was expecting an update to the existing Shearwater Desktop that would let it sync with the cloud; wasn’t expecting a whole new app. and my only suggestions would be to make the interface more like the original desktop program. That being said, thumbs up for developing this and doing such a good job on the beta version. Importing exisitng dives and syncing with the cloud were easy to accomplish-Thanks

    I like the idea, however have tried at least 5 times to register and nothing. No email, no error messages nothing.

    I got several shearwater dive computer. At the desktop software I can see which dive was made with which computer, not so in the cloud. Also, if you change to the next dive number there is no update of the computer model. Just if you go back to the overview and select the next dive, there is a change. Next, the is NO information about the O2-cell-voltages, the external battery, and so on, like at the desktop software. It would be nice to flip and zoom graph, for better reading.
    Finally it is very nice software, on which the comunity have been waiting so long. GREAT JOB – THANKS.

    Hi, I’m using Perdix, and I have been able to log my dives at the Shearwater Desktop app. What is the procedure to sync the data to Shearwater Cloud so my android app can get updated as well? Thanks!

      Hi, Ferdinand. If you have been using the traditional Shearwater Desktop you will need to import your divelog into Shearwater Cloud Desktop. From the traditional Shearwater Desktop go to File>Backup Database… and select a location to save your ShearwaterDesktop.db file. If you haven’t done so yet, install Shearwater Cloud Beta on your Windows or Mac computer. You can get the installer files here: https://www.shearwater.com/cloud-downloads/. After installation open Shearwater Cloud Beta and click on the “Import” icon seen on the upper left hand corner and select “Import Shearwater Desktop Database”. This will allow you to select the ShearwaterDesktop.db file you saved earlier. After importing the file, and if you haven’t done so yet, sign in to you Shearwater Cloud account with the same credentials you use in your Android devices. Then click on the “Sync” icon seen on the upper right hand corner of the screen. Finally go to your Android devices and sync them and your dive information will be in all your devices.

    This also needs to be done for imports. I’d like to move over but I’m not going to until I can import my dives I export from my other software that I use. My other software supports exporting to various formats (like DL7) but Shearwater doesn’t allow importing of DL7??

      To change the dive number, please select dive, scroll down to “summary”, tap where it says “Dive Number:” and you will be able to change the number manually.

    I added information to my dives such as place, air temp, notes on my android phone. When I go to my PC desktop app I cannot get those changes to sync there. What am I missing? I like to use my computer at home due to the larger screen but like to be able to enter data at the dives site for the dives.

      Hello Tad, First use the Shearwater Cloud app to sync the information on your phone. Next click sync on your PC to download the information, it should then appear in your dive log. If you run into any issues or have more questions please send us an email to info@shearwater.com

    I just started with the Perdix AI – Really nice.
    However i have all the logs in the Shearwater cloud – incl the test dive…..
    How do i delete a dive from the dive list in Shearwater Cloud ?

      Hi Lars, You can delete a dive in Shearwater Cloud by selecting the dive and clicking File > Delete Dive Log(s)

    How can I restore my dive log onto a new device? It transfers from device to the cloud, but I am having trouble with how to add them to new devices. eg. Perdix AI to Teric and back.

      It is not currently possible to move dives onto your dive computer.
