Shearwater Desktop 3.0.8

New Features/Improvements:

  • Due to the new connection protocols in the Perdix AI, we have added a Dive Computer selection menu when you attempt a connection.
  • Graph now displays AI features such as Tank pressure and Gas time.

***Important notice, Perdix AI uses Bluetooth LE, this is only available on Windows 8 and above.

***Important notice for Windows 8 and 8.1 users connecting your Perdix AI unit:

Perdix AI units need to be manually paired first to your computer in order to connect on Windows 8.1. Please perform the following steps to manually connect to your computer:

  1. Press the Start button on your keyboard. (Looks like the Windows Logo)
  2. Type: “Bluetooth Settings”
  3. Click on the Icon with the same name.
  4. Remove any Shearwater Dive Computers on this list.
  5. On your Perdix AI, go to the option “Start Bluetooth” and select it.
  6. You will see a new “Perdix” unit appear. Select “Pair” for that device.
  7. Once it is finished installing, you are good to connect in Shearwater Desktop.

        I have tried to install the latest desktop software and keep getting this message….

        Sorry, an error has occurred.
        The application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem. The certificate does not match the installed application certificate, does not support application upgrades, or is invalid. Please contact the application author.

        I’d be grateful if you could give some advise on how to overcome this issue.

  2. I’m unable to run the software, I’m running lastest adobe air and MacOS 10.12.1

  3. I’m having the same issue as the other guys. The troubleshooting advice doesn’t work. The ‘Anywhere’ option no longer exists in macOS Sierra.

      • Hello friends,

        IT WORKED ! In my MAC Sierra I had to make changes in the “TERMINAL” of MAC.

        First back up your dive data on Shearwater Desktop. Save it!
        Delete your Shearwater Desktop installation, especially in the trash …
        Open applications / Utilities open the terminal and type: sudo spctl –master-disable
        Enter the password and click Enter.
        Ready. Now install “anywhere” on MAC security and privacy.
        So I did the new installation normally. And then in the Shearwater Desktop _Restore / Overwrite Database …

        Everything is OK … I hope I have helped!

  7. Hi, my pc ran on a window 7 ultimate and i dont want to update to window 8 as many of my sotfware is not compatible with it. Is there any other way i can connect the Perdix AI to my pc and download dive log, update software,etc?

  8. I tried to update to 3.0.8 on a Windows 10 machine. Following error code:

    Install directory not empty, Install can not continue.

    Are dive data lost? How can I fix the issue? I can’t delete the forlder. There’s only one file left. –> uninstall.exe, which doesn’t run.

  9. Hi what makes the desktop software mix all the dives up, OK for a short time then
    mixs dives. Running windows 10 new laptop etc, no set pattern to the error will mix dives after 50 to 100 uploads.
