I love the mini display, its perfect for the Nerd2 (CC) with 2 o2 cells, leaving the 3rd spot for mini display.
Too bad it doesn’t show the information i would like to see.
Maybe it could be possible in future updates to create our own sets of mini display?
I would like to see the Time, Temperature and Surfgf
I have changed all the new batteries of AIs.
I want to suggest for the next update the possibility to see a battery percentage. The remaining battery percentage, in that way we could know exactly how much the battery has left to discharge.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to write to us. We really appreciate getting feedback from fellow divers about what they would like to see in Shearwater products. The battery displays as a percentage on the Teric in one of the later “Info Screens” when you scroll through those screens in dive mode. Our other models show in Volts. We periodically do reviews of suggested enhancements and feature requests prior to new firmware releases. Due to the volume of requests we get, I can’t promise that this improvement will be included in our next update, but I’ve added your request to that list. Please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts or suggestions again in the future.
I am a proud owner of a teric but as a dive instructor I would like to know how to set a « max depth alarm » ? I know this feature is available on the petrel and peregrine in rec dive mode but I can not find it on my Teric except in free diving.
Would be super great you could add this setting in a next firmware update for rec dive.
Thank you.
Hi Emmanuel. I’m happy to hear you’re enjoying your Teric computer. That is right, it is not currently available on the Teric, but it is on our feature request list. Thank you for letting us know this is something you would like to have added as well. We appreciate all feedback from fellow divers.
When I updated to the new firmware, I no longer showed my SAC rate on the shearwater cloud desktop.
I was told this was a known problem and it should be resolved in a few weeks. It has now been 3 months and none of my dives show my SAC rate. When can I expect this issued to be resolved.
Thanks
Jerry Dumas
Hi Jerry, thank you for your comment. I have confirmed that we’ve got a fix for next release – it’s in testing now, due to release in the next two weeks. The data is still there, it’s just a display bug that will be fixed. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
